tip of headset plugin broke off

I was picking up my controller and i accidently had my foot on the cord of the mic and i pulled up on the controller, and the tip of the mic plugin broke off.http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d27/monkeycnoevil666/Photo1.jpgit looks like that, sorry that pictures blurry, i didnt take it, i found it on the internet.anything i can do to fix this? i have the tip btw. tip of headset plugin broke off

Same thing happened to me. I used a solder to melt the end of the borken tip that inserts into the hole. I held it for a few seconds then I slipped it in and ta da. It did take me 3 trys. But it now works perfectly again.
You have the tip you said? It didn't break off and get stuck in the controller?
