Not alot cheaper. But online you can save like $3-5.
I've got a follow-up question for this. Does anyone here have any experience in purchasing MS Points cards from sites like eBay? Or does anyone know any other place where to get them cheap (maybe Amazon too)?
I really don't like micro-transactions but for DLC packs like the ones for Mass Effect and stuff like that I do seem to need it.

Id just go the stores and get them. Microsoft points and XBL Gold cards both have set prices, so you wont get a amazing deal on them.

Get off your butt and go to a local game store, price only changes if its a bundle.

you can get them instantly off amazon
Of course it's good to look around, but usually I only gotta look at maybe 5 or 6 places. Note: I bought my console early 2006 %26 have not paid more than $30 for a 12 month subscription.

Currently not on sale at Amazon, I'm surprised.
I looked a bit for you %26 I know most prefer to purchase from an actual company %26 the best I found with only a minute worth of looking was $38 Free Shipping from Buy.com.
I'm talking about the '2nd hand' ones. You know, you can get 12 months of Live for 30 bucks. 4200 points for 25 bucks. Those deals. Just wanted to know how many people use this to commit fraud. Anyone any experience buying stuff like this?
Online will be the cheapiest, but I always just go to gamestop its easier and faster

I've bought my subscriptions off of Ebay for $30 or less since 2006, do you think I've committed fraud by doing so?

Yeah or you could just look on Xbox.com to see when your subscription ends %26 buy offline to save money to use toward games.
I've never paid $50 for LIVE. BUY.COM selling them for $39.99 with free shipping by the way.

No. I'm talking about when the guy selling it gives you a faulty code that doesn't work. Cause that would suck.
Best Buy runs a deal on Live cards 2-3 times a year usually at $29.99. that's when I buy mine. I've bought a few points cards off of ebay but you have to know your seller make sure they have a high number feedback and you should be ok. Another way is Toys R Us always seems to give a $20 gift card on new releases so grab Halo ODST and use the $20 card for a Live Card.
On ebay you can get them about $5 cheaper
What I have done is this.. The first year I purchased right from Microsoft '' no big deal'' then sign up for the Speedway awards program ''gas station'' I gave one of the card to my wife then one to my mom and dad. The money you spnd on gas/drinks smokes etc earns you points. You can cash thoses points in you Xbox 3 month Live cards and Xbox points cards.
