CoD7 Should be Set in the Future?

I think it should be cuz I want something different, I aint saying Im tired of MW cuz believe me Im trying to get that game on the first but I been tried of WW2 so I think the makers should set the game in the future. Im not saying that CoD7 should have laser guns and fly cars but if u played or seen some MGS 4 clips u see those big robots and thats wat I would like to see some stuff like that. watdo yall think about it?CoD7 Should be Set in the Future?

From what I have heard CoD7 is set in the Cold War Era. So My guess would also be Vietnam.
That would be awesome, it seems like their just getting to futurstics for modern warfare 2.
There's evidence such as Activision buying rights to Vietnam Era, Cuban, and Russian songs. So CoD 7 is most likely in Vietnam and Cuba.
I'd rather have my CoD games based on the past, or modern-like.

Might as well not even have humans in that war if they're gonna have the robots. Point is, some people are tired of robots in games.

Please do explain to me how these robots will work. Nothing over the top? How are you suppose to destroy a robot with a submachine gun or a pistol? That would completely change the game. What am I scared of exactly?

No I haven't played MGS4. Also so to take down a robot you will have to use an RPG? Yeah always needing to use the RPG perk wouldn't be annoying or limiting the choices you have..
laser weapons for a CoD game sounds like crap. I wouldn't get it if it was like that. I prefer MODERN WARFARE!!!
