Why should i buy Mass Effect?

Hey people uhh can u guys help me with this is Mass Effect worth a buy and why? Also if doesnt please feel free to recommend any game.Why should i buy Mass Effect?
Because it is easily one of the best games this gen.Why should i buy Mass Effect?
The biggest shocker is that Mass Effect is only $10 in canada in most retail stores like Futureshop or Best Buy, even Blockbuster has it for $9.99, it's easily one of the best games this gen.

Seriously, one of the best games this gen and not many people even recognize this. There was clearly monumental effort put into this game and it really payed off.
other than the clunky controls but you get used to it. epic story that will last 10-20 hrs depending on how you play

Im in a friends house right now and hes in a planet( some what in the beggining) where theres a lot of rooms(i think theres an infection) where he fights these wolf things and some humanoid things... he tells me that it gets repetetive. Is that true?

Is that true?[/QUOTE]Yeah the combat is very repetitive but the overall game is still great, RPG shooters tend to have repetitive combat because the game is focused more on the interactive features of the game.
Ok thanks ill still buy it though cuz what I hear is pretty good.
On a side some of your descisions made in mass effect 1 will have an effect on the story in mass effect 2, which is going to be absolutley amazing, if you have time check some of the videos on youtube you will be blown away.

well i didnt say 100% complete. if you dont travel to any other planets or just talk to people and play on easy you can beat in in at least 10-12 hrs. i did another run thru and it took me 25 hrs
