ODST Campaign Disc only?

Hey guys, Don't worry I'm not going to say ''OMG, ITS HALO 3 ALL OVER AGAIN''. I actually have a question, lol.Just wanted to know that does the 2nd disc really matter? My friend is giving me the campaign disc (firefight!!) for about $20.Can I just buy halo 3 and put it as the 2nd disc since it's the multiplayer the 2nd disc has? Let me know. Thanks a bunch,JustinODST Campaign Disc only?
what?ODST Campaign Disc only?
I'm pretty much asking is Halo 3 ODST Multiplayer disc the same as a Halo 3 disc?
No it has all DLC.
I'm sure the prices of all the DLC might go down soon since they're with the game.

doubt it. but yeah, Halo 3 is the same as the multiplayer disc, except it has all the maps already on the disc.
right u keep thinking that lol
If you have Halo 3 and have already downloaded the extra maps then a full priced ODST becomes quite a rip off IMO. But if you haven't downloaded any of the extra maps, and you plan on taking the game online, the full package is a must. ODST's campaign is awesome, and Firefight is super fun, and it is definitely worth 20$, to answer your question.
Thanks for the feedback guys! I will definitly buy the campaign disc!
well you might aswell just buy odst because by the time you buy halo and all the new maps you would have spent a good bit of money and halos online requires you to have the dlc for alot of the playist. You really shuld wait for a price drop on the maps either they usally dont go down in price.

What is firefight? I dont really pay attention when it comes to Halo... Is it not just a multiplayer mode? Everyones making it out like its a full game or something...
Yeah, why not? I have both Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST now, but if you can get just the Campaign disc (and if that's all you want) for $20 than go for it. You can still play Halo 3 online you just won't be able to play the new maps. But you're getting almost all of the new stuff for only $20 from this guy. That's not a bad deal at all considering there's the campaign and Firefight with it's 10 maps. When you get Halo 3, you can play it's stellar campaign and have the multiplayer. Bungie will hopefully drop the price at some point, but even if they don't make sure you download Cold Storage. It's a new map Bungie released for free.
What is firefight? I dont really pay attention when it comes to Halo... Is it not just a multiplayer mode? Everyones making it out like its a full game or something...
Firefight isn't multiplayer like the competitive stuff. It has ten individual maps, and what it is 1-4 people facing off wave after wave of Covenant to get the highest score possible and the further you get skulls are activated. The skulls change up what you do, from enemies being immune to bullets to meleeing enemies to regain health, etc. Plus, it's never-ending. If you were good enough, you could technically play FireFight forever. It's way different from the standard multiplayer options, and it's good stuff.
The MP disc is the MP portion of Halo 3. All things MP from Halo 3 are on the disc, which means all the modes and features, plus all the maps ever made. So yea, if you bought Halo 3 and put it in there you would have the same thing, without all the extra DLC, but you'd have Halo 3's campaign.
