Halo 2 Custom Games were a blast. I was actually in this Clan that played really neat Custom Games like every day, and I would always get an invite when I was online. I've been meaning to get Halo 2 for PC, I think I will so I can relive some fond memories and earn achievements at the same time. :D

Get custom edition lots of ways to change the game.(also has halo 2 like maps)
Halo 2 was a lot harder than Halo 3 in multiplayer.

I thought Halo 2 easier since the battle rifle's bullet spread was very tight. It was way more accurate. If you were good enough you could out snipe someone who's using the sniper rifle just using your battle rifle. This isn't the case in Halo 3. Not only that but the rocket launcher had lock on in Halo 3 and the more powerful vehicles such as the Wraith, tank and Gauss warthog were common place in Halo 2. In Halo 3 these vehicles are almost only present in the heavy game type variants.

Halo 2 was my favorite one...in my opinion. I think the best part was the ridiculously fast speed sniper rifle.

The Br in halo 2 was more balanced and CONSISTENT. In halo 3 sometimes it takes 5 shots to kill someone with it, sometimes 4(this is when all shots hit and the last is a headshot) It was not consistent and there was no reason why. It just seemed to be random. MLG had to put damage to 110% to HELP fix this.
