sending xbox to be repaired question

i packaged my xbox and im going to send it in today but a ups pickup store that was once in my town is no longer there that i once used for this, and the closest ups pickup building is pretty far away but there are two ups pickup boxes in my town. So my question is, will they take a xbox sized package in one of those boxes? has anyone dropped off a package or broken xbox in one?sending xbox to be repaired question

yea i just read the requirements for the packages it says must be 16 x3 x13 inch box and under my box is 17.6 x 3 x 12.25 do you think the guy would care its a inch and half longer?
I personally wouldn't risk them not taking the xbox. However when I sent my Xbox in for repair I didn't have this problem as the drop-off facility was just 5 min from my house.:P
if your talking an actual drop box the xbox wont fit inside of it. given some of the problems people have returning those id make sure it went into human hands and stayed in human hands. you dont want to give ms any excuses.
Find a retail store that has a UPS shipping center like Office Depot or Staples if thats closer



If not then check the pickup time for the drop box location and if you're free then just wait there for the UPS guy to show up and hand him the package (they normally pick it up a few mins after the posted pick up time if its not a busy day or sometimes up to 30 mins after if they have more deliveries)



If you see a UPS truck driving by they will usually take packages if you ask them, just let them know its been prepaid alrdy
