While I don't get the chills (lol) from MW 2...It does look amazing.
I was a major skeptic when it was announced, but after the more recent footage, it does honestly look 10x better.
The biggest thing I notice was the addition of color. It really has a large color palette compared to most shooters recently.
Other than that, all of the multiplayer additions make me so happy...CAN'T WAIT.Wow...Modern Warfare 2

I agree. I really don't know why so many people are hating on the new multiplayer stuff (such as throwing knives and duel wielding). Infinity Ward wouldn't put them in the game if they aren't going to work well.

Dual wielding I think will be such a novelty thing. It'll go out of style soon, because 2 pistols vs a G36? G36 still wins.
Throwing knives will be great, and you obviously aren't just going to be able to throw them over and over...
Does anyone know if Last Stand is in MW2?I can see it now...I throw a knife into a guys dome and he drops in last stand and caps me...gotta love it haha

Seriously, am I the only one who thinks it looks basically like Call of Duty 4, just spiced up? i know you shouldn't fix what isn't broken, but cmon. Watching the gameplay videos made me think I was watching an expansion pack for COD 4 or something. Everyone seems to think this game is like the second coming of Jesus or something, even though it's nothing new.

u no ur not the only 1, have u been reading wat ppl been sayin about this game? lol i don't no wat u would change to make it not look like a ''expansion'' of COD4 but i am curious about wat ppl who think its the same thing again would make it better, they never say for lol

Also, maybe something like interactive maps, or a map editor? I mean look at Far Cry 2, they put a huge map editor in there, so basically every match you play is a totally unique map, thats why the game was so fun. Just having new locales for the maps isn't all that great, because if it feels the same, and I feel like I'm playing COD 4, the maps will get boring after playing for a bit, because there's only so many. It's not so much what more they can do, but all the people who are acting like this game is going to be ground-breaking, when it still uses the same engine, same basic multiplayer that's just spiced up, and some dinky co-op addon, instead of actually adding co-op to the damn campaign. I mean, if COD is so great, why can't I play it with my friend when he comes over, neither in the campaign or in the MP? Modern warfare is only giving me the option of doing some co-op special mode, which I doubt will hold a candle to the campaign.
This game will be epic!!!!
It looks extremely fast paced, to a point where it's just perfect :)
