Why, just yesterday I entered 4 Halo games.. In each one the first thing said to me was ''Hey n00b, stfu. I'm gonna teabag you. f*** your mum.''
Always something along those lines..
I also got 2 messages. One called me a Flamin' P***y for Sniping this dude in the head before he could even line up his shot on me about 9 times in a row.
Honestly, the fool KEPT going back for the sniper. What was I supposed to do?
Oh and the other was just telling me that apparently I'm a moron.

This is why I stay in a party all the time.
Still the system must work, though i dont know how many complaints someone needs to get banned...though if someone gives people abuse all the time and everyone who he/she abused filed a complaint then surely it wouldnt be long before that person would get banned.
I used to be one of those people who threw out insults when I was killed. I don't play online much anymore, but I'd like to think I've grown up since those days.
To be fair i dont think its swearing after you get killed or anything like that, i'd say its more the people who make it personal and send you violent or abusive measages after or while playing the matchPlus how sexist onlines getting is frighterning! you'd think some lads had never seen a girl before lol
I always use the rep system.Mute 'em, avoid 'em.That's my motto.But as for filing complaints, I never file one unless the person is extremely persistent, or makes threats in PMs.Even though the threats are idle (no need to explain why) I still file complaints anyway, because it's more than likely that the person does it almost every other player, as the TC has stated already.

I have managed to get a guy banned from Xbox Live before, and that was because he was harassing a female player on my friend list with sexually explicit text, voice, and picture messages. I got hundreds of people together to File Complaints on him and he was finally banned. :)

I find it sad how so many 12 year olds think its funny to say the N word and F word. I usually do file complaints and/or give 'em bad rep. One of my friends is a girl and she gets hounded when we play CoD4. Now everyone I know just stays in Party all the time because it get rediculous.This also reminded me of today when I was destroying this kid in WaW. I have a deeper voice and apparently sound like a black person sometimes, expecially when I say a'ight and other slang words (I'm growing up in a''ghetto''neighbor hood). So I get voice message from a 10 year old kid saying how he hates my kind andhowI should f***ingdie. I replyed and said I dont understand why he hates his own kind. And filed a complaint on him.

Yep, we also need to ban people to make threats to people.Just yesterday we were playing a game of cod 4 hc TDM I got killed by a team mate at the end of the game (would of ony been about 3 sec left on the clock) I found this player and killed him just for abit of revenge, just mucking around we had already won the game in the bag. He then sends me a message trying to pretend he works at XBL telling me to call MYXBOX and gave me is representive number and the reason I got banned for was a team kill. LMAO he then says I will be suspended from live from the 22 to new years. I filed a complaint against his name for using a threatening message.
I always use the tools available to me as an Xbox Gold Subscriber. THough i am usually in a party when i am not and there is some little child screaming and swearing i usually take the necessary actions to avoid/ mute that player. If they really bug me ill file a complaint but that is rare.
I always do it to people who really deserve it. Constant team killing etc.

You have to insult their english and assume they're young after throwing in your rather hostile opinion.
How about YOU learn proper grammar. Then come spread your opinion where it's not wanted.
